Designer puts the two things you reach for between edits within reach: a screenshot and the command palette. The top-left corner and a three-finger tap both capture, so a reference is never more than one gesture away.
These are the regions and gestures the recipe sets. Apply it to a scene, then change anything in Canvas.
| Region or gesture | Action |
|---|---|
| Left edge | Brightness |
| Right edge | Volume |
| Bottom edge | Media scrub |
| Top-left corner | Screenshot |
| Top-right corner | Mute |

| Bottom-right corner | App Switcher |

| Two-finger swipe right | Forward |
| Three-finger tap | Screenshot |
| Three-finger swipe up | Mission Control |

Launch the app and open the scene you want to change.
Choose the book icon in the sidebar, then select Designer.
Apply it to the scene. Change any trigger in Canvas; the recipe is a starting point.
Use Designer if you work in Figma, Sketch, Photoshop, or a browser and constantly capture references, compare colors, or jump between the canvas and a moodboard.
If you present designs more than you capture them, use the Presenter recipe. If you use Figma full-screen, keep Mission Control in the bottom-right corner for the browser and the file window.
They use the macOS screenshot behavior. Check where your Mac saves screenshots in Screenshot settings.
Yes. Figma can have its own scene. Apply Designer to the Figma scene and keep a different layout for Safari.

Every recipe is included. Use the full app for 3 days; activate only if you keep it.
